February is reknowned for Valentine's, and the month for "Love in the air"; and for expressing one's love to their beloved. It's probably a day that women loved to be shown adoration and swooned upon by their partner's, and from what I've been heard from some of the male responses - it appears to be the day of doom (that is, what can I get that is going to make her happy?). However, it's also a depressing day that some singletons who don't have someone to love and adore; or to show their love to.
I have shared some ideas with my friends, that usually this is the day to share with a friend if you're single, and every year I try to make an effort to make someone out there feel special that's single, even if they're nothing more than that - a friend.
And why is it, that we have to make one specific day in the year to make someone feel special, why can't it be any day of the year - a common thought amongst many peers.
For those that are feeling a bit left out still, the next best option is treat yourself out for a pamper, or buy yourself a gift. And this month just focus on transforming yourself into a better you, and having a bit of me time and fun.
